Our Neighborhood: A Walking Tour
A short walk will bring you to recreational options and interesting attractions of local historical significance. Your walk can take you to our village’s 99 year old footbridge which has spanned the river since 1924, our 150 year old St. Peter’s church and across the street to the Parc de Nos Ancêtres . A short drive will take you to the breathtaking vastness and beauty of Tor Bay Provincial Park or the newly developed Place Savalette in Port Felix. Be sure to visit their Salle Acadienne to explore local Acadian genealogy at the Communities Along The Bay facility. That facility also provides some interesting recreational opportunities in the form of outdoor exercise equipment and a tennis court behind the building.
